Re-energizing a nonprofit by moving them from WordPress to Squarespace and giving them an intentional website.
CATHOLIC HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS OF HOUSTON, TEXAS
This nonprofit is a physician-led community of Catholic healthcare professionals dedicated to fostering Christian friendship, providing faithful formation in the principles and teachings of the Catholic Church, and fostering a culture of life in work, homes and community.
When we met with Annette Howe, one of the members, we quickly realized this nonprofit had a long list of frustrations with its current WordPress website. Not only was it difficult to update, but it was also clunky, lacked relevant information and felt old. They were also struggling to manage and communicate with members, as well as collect donations regularly. We were up for the challenge!
Since they already had an existing brand, the first thing we did was incorporate more modern images to freshen up the look and feel, while also balancing the topics of healthcare and the Catholic Church. Then we wrote more clear and compelling headlines and copy so website visitors would understand what they did. Finally, we introduced them to the donation platform GiveButter and connected it to their website.

THE RESULT
Now their member community is thriving online! Catholic Healthcare Professionals of Houston has a clear path to encourage members, collect annual fees and donations, as well as keep everyone in the know of upcoming meetings and events. Their favorite part of the new website…easily making edits on their own. We love how they can encourage more healthcare workers serving in our community.
