Designing a logo and website for a nonprofit serving the special needs community.
SPECIAL CONNECTIONS, TEXAS
Creating a website for a new nonprofit is always exciting, especially when it’s for a cause as meaningful as Special Connections.
Jason and Jennifer Griffith wanted to create an online space where families in the special needs community in the DFW area could easily learn about their mission and upcoming events. Special Connections offers adaptive bike rides and other mobility services to bring joy, foster connection, and create inclusive recreational experiences for individuals of all ages with special needs and disabilities.
I worked closely with them to design a website that not only reflects their dedication to inclusion and connection but also makes it simple for families to sign up for rides and get involved. Now, families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area have a welcoming online space to find joy and build connections, just like the Griffith family did through movement with their son Caleb.

THE RESULT
The Special Connections website now provides a warm, inviting space for families in the special needs community. Parents can easily access event information, sign up for rides, and get involved in ways that support the organization’s mission. By creating a user-friendly and visually appealing website, Jason and Jennifer can continue to grow their nonprofit and bring even more joy to families in the DFW area.
